Churn Buster and Rivo

Churn Buster recovers failed Rivo membership payments with automated email (and optional SMS) recovery campaigns timed to Rivo's retry schedule, so passive churn gets addressed without disrupting the membership itself.

How the Churn Buster integration works

Some key highlights of the Churn Buster integration

• Rivo sends payment_failure, payment_success, and canceled webhooks to Churn Buster
• When a payment fails, Churn Buster automatically opens a recovery campaign; when it succeeds, the campaign closes
• Members can update their card directly from their Rivo account
• Loyalty, points, and VIP tiers keep running as-is while a payment is being recovered
• If every retry fails, Churn Buster cancels the membership at the end of the campaign, and benefits run through the end of the billing period

Installing the Churn Buster integration

Contact Churn Buster to set up your account, then connect Rivo from the Rivo connection page in your Churn Buster dashboard. In Rivo, go to Memberships → Failed Payments Retry Schedule and set retries to 1, 2, 3, 5, 5, 5, 5, then disable Rivo's default Payment Failure email under Memberships → Email — Churn Buster's campaigns replace it.
