Ometria and Rivo
Ometria is a customer data and marketing platform built for retail and ecommerce brands. The Rivo and Ometria integration syncs loyalty program data from Rivo into Ometria contact profiles, so brands can segment and personalize email campaigns based on each customer's loyalty status, points, and rewards.
How the Ometria integration works
Once enabled, Rivo automatically pushes loyalty properties to matching Ometria contacts. Contacts are matched by email address, and updates appear in Ometria within about a minute. Six properties sync to each contact:
- Points balance: the customer's current Rivo points balance
- Store credit: the customer's current store credit
- Loyalty status: for example, member
- Referral URL: the customer's unique referral link
- Date of birth: in YYYY-MM-DD format
- VIP tier name: included when the VIP Tiers program is enabled
The integration syncs profile attributes only. Loyalty events such as points earned or redeemed are not synced.
Installing the Ometria Integration
To connect Rivo and Ometria:
- In your Rivo dashboard, open Integrations and select Ometria under Email & SMS Marketing.
- Paste your Ometria private API key into the API Key field and click Save.
- Toggle the integration switch to ON.
- Optionally, click Sync Customers to backfill your existing customer base.
You will need an Ometria private API key, which requires Administrator access in Ometria (or a custom role with the “API Keys” permission).
